What It Felt Like to Use ChatGPT the First Time
I remember typing something like "explain how transformers work in plain English" and getting back this incredibly clear, polite, helpful answer. I just stared at it. Then I kept typing.
I stayed up all night. I asked it to write poetry. Then SQL. Then code. I started asking it questions I was afraid to ask real people.
It wasn't perfect. But it was weirdly good. Like, unsettlingly good. The feeling was like discovering Google for the first time again — except it talked back.
